Rakhat Aliyev, the former son-in-law of Nazarbayev, got married

Rakhat Aliyev, the former highly ranked official of Kazakhstan, got officially married second time and took the family name of his wife, Svoboda slova Kazakh newspaper reports.
According to the newspaper, Aliyev’s ID number is 000842172974, which is a life-long identity, awarded to each citizen of Austria and that cannot be changed unlike, say, passport, last name and other data. Along with the indicated number in the database (publicly available in Austria) and besides the name Rakhat Aliev there is another name – Rakhat Shoraz.
This is the last name of Aliyev’s new wife, Elnara Shorazova. In the autumn of last year Elnara gave a birth to a son. The article says that she worked with Aliyev in Kazakh embassy in Austria as attaché and, consequently, as third and second secretary of diplomatic mission.
Prior to resignation in 2007 Aliyev served as Kazakh Ambassador in Austria. In the same year he divorced Dariga Nazarbayeva, the daughter of Kazakh President. They divorced once the criminal case has been filed against Aliyev. They have three children. Unofficial sources report that Aliyev is ready to leave Austria and move to another country, which is not identified yet.
In 2008 Kazakh court sentenced Aliyev to 40 years of jail for the preparation of coup, kidnapping of bankers and commitment of other crimes. Since August of 2007 Kazakhstan has been attempting to bring back Aliyev and his team members but Austria rejected all claims due political motivation behind the claims.
